Girls Who Skate

With Girls Who Skate, skateboarding in Flanders gets a new face. No tough boys-only mentality, but a warm, inclusive community where girls and women of all ages can find their place. Whether you have never set foot on a board or can already land tricks, everyone is welcome.

We worked together with the organisers to design and deliver the entire campaign. From the creative concept and rollout to producing the campaign video that perfectly captures the energy and joy of Girls Who Skate.

The campaign travels all over Flanders with accessible workshops at local skate spots. Everything is provided: boards, helmets, guidance and above all a safe atmosphere where you can be yourself. You learn at your own pace, without pressure, with the support of experienced coaches and an enthusiastic group of fellow skaters.

It is not just about the tricks. Girls Who Skate is about confidence, friendship and breaking stereotypes. By learning together and encouraging each other, a community is created that continues to grow, even after the workshops, through local skate clubs in every province.

This is how Girls Who Skate shows that skateboarding is for everyone. Falling, getting back up, laughing and carrying on, on four wheels and full of energy.
